Hi, I’m Lianne, the writer behind Meyosophy, and I’m truly glad you’re here.
Meyosophy is a calm corner of the internet dedicated to understanding the mind, the nervous system, emotions and the small everyday habits that shape how we feel. It’s a place where mental health becomes more human, relatable and less clinical. A place where learning about yourself doesn’t feel overwhelming, but grounding.

💛 What Meyosophy Is About
Meyosophy was created for people who want to understand themselves better: not through quick fixes, but through curiosity, compassion and science-informed insights.
Here, you’ll find writing about:
- the psychology and neuroscience behind emotions and behavior
- anxiety, overthinking, low energy and emotional dysregulation
- the mind–body connection (gut, hormones, sleep, stress)
- nervous system regulation and grounding techniques
- practical tools you can actually use in daily life
- lived experience with mental health challenges
- Making complex subjects understandable via either text or visuals
- And much more
Everything I write blends two things:
personal experience + evidence-based knowledge
🌱 Why I Started Meyosophy
I’ve always been fascinated by why we feel and react the way we do. And like many people, I’ve had my own journey through anxiety, depression, panic attacks, dissociation, low energy, overthinking and emotional overwhelm.
During those years, I often felt lost and misunderstood. Like something inside me was broken. I spent countless hours researching psychology, trauma, the nervous system, and the science behind emotions. Not out of academic curiosity, but because I needed answers. I wanted to understand myself so I could make sense of what was happening inside my body and mind.
Over time, I learned this:
Nothing was “wrong” with me, my nervous system was overwhelmed, and I didn’t yet have the tools to support it.
Meyosophy was born from that place.
From wanting to share what I’ve learned.
Wanting people to feel less alone.
Believing we deserve information that’s personal, accurate and empowering.
I’ll never be done learning, but it’s time to give back what helped me.
🧠 What You Can Expect
Meyosophy is not therapy and I’m not a licensed mental health professional.
But this space is grounded in:
- compassion,
- curiosity,
- psychological research,
- nervous-system science,
- and lived experience.
My intention is to make mental health feel approachable, not clinical or intimidating, and to offer tools that support emotional wellbeing in everyday life. My blog is not a replacement for professional advice or therapy.
💚 My Hope for You
I hope that something you read here helps you feel:
- seen
- soothed
- supported
- less alone
I hope you find insights that make you think:
“I’m not broken, I’m human.”
And I hope you walk away with tools you can use on days when life feels heavy, confusing or exhausting.
You deserve understanding, gentleness and space to grow.
